No, we had a distribution system where teams that went to


Bowls got more money than the ones who didn’t. I think there was also a larger payout to the conference champs.

Miami decided to leave because of this format. They had a hard time making ends meet when they didn’t win the conference, but was able to break even or go in to the black when they did win it all. the ACC and its even distribution and more money per school alleviated those concerns.
