My point isn’t about recruiting, BUT it IS about dollars $$$$ that some talented people were able to parlay into a major end goal.

I was merely musing &/or wishing about us having some talented people (like those involved with what I spoke) with The ABILITY to plan & execute after anticipating a need well down the road or....long range goals & plans underway.
These successes or near successes that frustrate not only us, but also other ACC & other conferences (such as the TX & OK evolving possible after effects) need to be anticipated by people that are savvy enough to work on things. This didn’t just pop out of thin air, some talented planners who are ABOUT TO EXECUTE worked out something with PLANNING & foresight that the planning was needed.
Just my take.
I Think dollars follow a well executed plan. We just suck at it, or maybe we don’t (back to the coup that VT played with Amazon-Alex-Arlington etc. We thumped both the B1G 🤣Terps in their own backyard, and don’t think Hoos or PSU or anyone else from other major universities liked it either. If similar people worked our athletic future, maybe there would be dollars...UNC got to where they are quickly because when ‘Mack came Back’ 🤔 he made several well thought out plans AND EXECUTED! Out.
