As an aside I'm seeing discussion that the SEC kept the information about these discussions away from its members to this point, and the Texas Board of Regents was recently informed. Texas believes someone on their Board of Regents informed Texas A&M causing the leak by Texas A&M. But it's so far along that the leak shouldn't matter. Texas and Oklahoma know they have to remain in the Big XII at least 2 more years, maybe 3, to satisfy GOR. SEC can wait.
