Although their sales are down a little now, they're still selling all they can build. The same goes for the Civic and Corolla.

Lexus ES sales must be fairly strong based on the number of new ones I see on the road.

As for the Avenger and Dart, they didn't lose sales based on them being sedans, they lost sales because owners discovered they were crappy vehicles.

The Beetle should have never been resurrected. VW's biggest problem came from their Dieselgate issues. That affected their cars with gas engines too.

As you can tell, I'm not a huge SUV fan. If you need a truck, buy a truck. If you need to move your family and a lot of crap, buy a minivan. Smaller family, buy a sedan. All are far more dynamically safer on the highway than a SUV.
