It sounded to me like he implied Fuente could have had the Baylor job but

wanted to coach these players.

He said about Fuente, "I want to coach THIS team!" Without getting too deep, he turned down years, security and proximity to his and his wife's family to stay w/US.

Me again:
I hope VT is successful this year not just because I want to see VT win but because I want Fuente and JHam to succeed.
