He certainly laid it all out there. Not gonna lie. It kind of made me sad because I felt the pressure and stress the staff is under. It kinda felt like a plea to unite for one season because the runway is getting shorter. The reality is people a lot closer to the program than I have bolted. It’s not just a segment of fans. But it probably had to be said because we’re never going back to 1999. Beamer and Bud are legends because they are rare. We lived in the greatest era of Hokie football and the landscape changed considerably. I hope his post is an indication of hope for a new phase of success instead of a desperate plea.
