Honestly, they tell you the best idea is to not eat or drink anything...


...except maybe water for at least like 10-15 minutes before you know you're gonna have to blow in the interlock device. In addition to being sensitive, those devices can be prone to false positives.

I had to do the VASAP and interlock tango several years back. You categorically do not want to fool around with the interlock.
