Question about the Tyreece Radford news

First off what we know is that he has entered his name into the transfer portal. Additionally it has been noted on this site that the VASAP organization is assigned oversight responsibililty for the penalties Boots was given by the Courts from is DUI conviction. Further it seems VASAP is filing for him to return to Court and answer why he may not have been doing what he was sentenced to do. Finally July 1 (today) is the filing deadline for players to enter the transfer portal and be eligible to play immediately without sitting out at another school should they so decide.

So my question is could it be possible Boots is trying to keep all his optons open? By entering his name yesterday he could transfer if he so elects. But eligibility seems to be an issue due to his court problems or sentencing. Will VT and Coach Young accept him back onto the team if he is able to satisfy his legal obligations? I believe the school a player is seeking to leave can always allow him to return ( see football's HH).

Just thinking he first must get his legal issues settled. If he doesn't I am guessing he can't play anywhere. But "if" and "when" he does get that settled would he not now have the option to play immediately at the school of his choosing which could include a return to VT?

Or does the fact VT made the announcement yesterday signal that Coach MY and the athletic administration has had enough of his lack of commitment and behavior and is wishing him well at his next stop?
