He does come across as a bit of "I'm old school just for the sake of being


old-school" type.

He seems to absolutely swear by copper. All the research I did before replumbing an old house (it had galvenized steel pipe...ugh) indicated PEX was objectively superior in every way. A professional plumber who still trumpets copper over PEX strikes me as someone who hasn't done their research.

With his overall opinions, it's hard to tell if he really thinks sharkbites are bad, or are they just a disruptive technology that risks devaluing a skillset he's spent years developing.
