in pressers. P&D set it up nicely by saying Packer admires him for it like Bellichick and he did his impression of Fu which got some laughs. Fu basically said I feel like I'm talking to the other head coaches and I don't want to give them any insights. He said he actually watches their Tues press conferences to learn as much as he can. I thought it was candid and authentic.

He gets major points for handling the opening 2-3 minutes where he clearly couldn't hear P&D and the dumb ACCN producers were talking into a hot mic. They finally fixed it but it was so friggin awkward. It reflected poorly on ACCN and not Fu. Once they fixed his earpiece he was pretty jovial and comfortable.

Fu said it was so nice to get recruits and players back on campus again to show off the new weight room, dorm and players' lounge. He said it was disappointing to not be able to share all the progress during 2020.

There was one confusing answer by Fu. They asked what's it gonna take to get our defense back to intimidating and dominating and Fu said "the run game." He meant make the other team one dimensional and DEFEND the run better. But it wasn't well articulated or revealing. I wish he'd said we need to recruit some grown men that want to hit somebody. I thought Packer took a bit of a jab at the end saying we _finally_ got you on the show and appreciate you joining us. But he's always a jerk anyway.
