I might be the referee for a U12 soccer match later today. We have a ref

shortage for our league, and we've been informed that no ref has been assigned to our game tonight. We're going to see if there's anyone there more qualified than me. If not, I'll take it.

Should I rule with an iron fist? Should I take this as my chance to take care of any grievances against the opposing team, or even some of the players / coaches on our team? Lounge advice is welcome.

It's a paying gig even!
