Hokie Sports was basically run, programmed and updated by one person.


So, there was a need to outsource the operation to provide long-term continuity of operations. The big problem regarding the historical data was getting it transferred to the new system. This took a while and the access formats, etc. were different. If you remember there was a lot of complaints about this part, and there are still some access issues today.
