JMHO, but Hokie Sports has been gradually declining since they ...

went from being an independent website to Side Arm Sports. It was easier to navigate and the videos were better before making the change "for the better." I know Whit wanted to be in step with all the other ACC sports websites, so he went with Side Arm Sports.

As for swimming, most view it as an individual sport like cross country, Track and field, golf, tennis, and wrestling even though it's a team sport on the college level. I guess most follow professional golf and tennis and all the wrestling (which are individual sports unless doubles or tag team,...) on TV and forget that the college version is a team sport with mostly individual performances? Wrestling seems to be the most popular of those "individual" sports among college fans. Hokie Sports has become my secondary Tech sports information website over the past 3-4 years. They're good at things like official announcements and ticket distribution. Not so good at in-depth coverage of Tech sports, especially the Olympic sports. Like all university and professional sports franchise websites, it has that homer feel to it, which is to be expected. JMHO.
