We like the Black Hen as a treat for dinner,

but it is on the high end of the price scale for Blacksburg (~$30 to $35 entrees).
The Maroon Door is relatively new and has good food, in the old Mike's grill location. They have good burgers, as well as other good entrees, and an in-house brewery.
As others have said, it is hard to go wrong with The Cellar.
The Blacksburg Tavern is another favorite of ours. It has a Homeplace vibe minus the drive to Catawba. Comfort food like fried chicken, meatloaf, etc. You can get either family style or individual dinners.
