I can use a flashlight and a dental mirror

to check mine out. It's too hard physically to get behind it. But I can see it's clear. Also, you can check outside and see how much air is moving. And make sure there is a screen over the outside exit. I had a bird built a nest and completely stop one up. The builder left the little 99 cent screen off
