I had a heating element failure a few years ago and decided to replace...


it myself. When I got the front of the dryer open I couldn't believe how much lint was all over the bottom of that thing. I vacuumed it all out, replaced the element and moved on. But now that you mention it, it's probably time to reopen that machine to see what's accumulated since.
