General thoughts from my experience…

1. When I have had continuing streaming issues they have been solved with a new router. Your situation is different since you have two tvs but for me with one router, one tv and one roku, the problem is usually the router. Routers are strange beasts with weird intermittent problems. You can’t just rely on “my speed is good”. I rent my FIOS gateway from Verizon. I just tell them I want to upgrade the device to their most current.
2. Streaming devices are better than the ones built into smart tvs. Try a new ROKU.
3. Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling.
4. Streaming live TV is more demanding on resources than streaming on-demand.

Edit: I have YTTV.
