Sorry VTChip but I am reposting this question again as a new thread in case you missed my question below. Here's my post/question again:

I have basically never watched VT softball until the NCAA games in Tempe - I must say, it was quite enjoyable and to me, it represents what college athletics should be about - college students having fun playing their sport and alums like me rooting for their alma mater. Knowing that a little money can go along way for programs/sports like this, I would like to donate specifically to softball. I know I can go through my HC account and earmark a donation to softball there but is there any advantage in doing it through your "poppin it challenge" which I admit I know nothing about?
