Crypto people... Let's discuss.... I keep hearing that crypto currency and


the Blockchain are going to change the world just like the internet did in the 90s.... But I'm not really seeing that. Crypto and Blockchain seem to be different ways of doing things we already do. So, it seems it's more like a way to replace things in a more stream-lined way. An example I keep hearing is how crypto will get rid of the middle man when making on-line purchases, taking away a layer of fees. I don't buy that. I think prices would stay the same as the companies making the sale would pocket any savings from middle-ma fees from financial services.

But the blockchain... I see how that can create evidence and value in proving transactions or ownership, but how is THAT aspect something that will change the world like the internet did? It seems like the Blockchain ENHANCES the internet and all the on-line transactions. What am I missing about it?
