I've been to a number of SABR conferences for work ...


And used to work with one of the founders of Baseball Prospectus. It's still weird regularly reading articles about guys I've met in person multiple times.

My favorite baseball acronym remains TOOTBLAN, though. However, I do like the process they went through to name PECOTA. I'd never heard of a "backronym" before that.
