under Robie. Our streak of top 10 NCAA finishes is gone and this year we finished behind NCSU (AGAIN), Pitt, and barely ahead of UNC. We also finished behind Iowa St which was a train wreck 4 years ago before Dresser got there. It's now 4 years since we won the ACC Championship. Does that happen under Dresser? It never did. Robie has had great recruiting classes and he needs to find a way to turn that talent into an ACC tournament championship team. The SERTC progress is all very well and good but it is not yet producing the desired result. And one more obvious trend - we don't wrestle as tough as we used to - under Dresser we were almost always stronger in the 3rd period than our competition and we had enforcers like Pete Yates and Devin Carter on the roster, and guys that were bonus point machines. Not this year, not last year, not the year before. Robie needs to turn up the wick, because IMHO there is a culture issue with this program, a lack of toughness and conditioning and just plain meanness. NCSU has that, Iowa has that, we don't, but we did. We need hammers.
