Lounge Question: How much $$ is enough to retire (early), in your opinion?

Yes, I know it depends on your spending habits, whether your house is paid off, etc. But generally, how much net worth do you think is needed to retire before full retirement age? Say, age 59.5, with SS kicking in at 62 and then Medicare at 65? Any caveats? Health care is a wild card for sure. TIA.
