Its not always a player...

And I dont know the ins and outs of exactly how theyre tracing, but I do know you have to be in close proximity for a specific amount of time (whether its 15 min, 30 min, or 2 hours I dont know)

So I dont think practice counts as close proximity unless youre in a huddle the entire time.

So usually what knocks out a team is when a player tests positive and they live in an apartment/dorm with 3 other players...and then it is determined that X player out of those 3 went to dinner with 2 other players bringing the number up to 6.

If you had a particularly long film session though, then you could possibly have the whole team out due to contact tracing.

Its all different and there are a number of possibilities. No one is out there trying to cheat the system. Kansas is one of the biggest cheaters in college basketball and its quite uncertain theyll even be able to play David McCormack. If anyone was going to cheat to win some games, Bill Self would be that guy....and they forfeited.

So why not take teams at their word, and then assume there isnt a dark cabal trying to screw VT with contact tracing. In the grand scheme of things it just doesnt matter that much

Not saying youre doing any of those things I mentioned...I just see it a lot
