Don’t feel bad, I don’t think they really know either.

I have heard 15 minutes is the limit.

But it only takes seconds for someone to sneeze with a heavy viral load.

So, at some level, these folks are just making it up to mitigate risks as best they can.

But, unfortunately, the virus doesn’t know our rules. It’s only rule is to survive by finding a host.
