I think it’s more individual national champions right now


A podium finish is an amazing accomplishment but the individuals wrestling Saturday night will have all eyes on them in prime time TV and garner lasting buzz and attention. I couldn’t tell you the 2nd-4th place teams for any year but I immediately recognize the name of many champions and know what school they wrestled at.
