1 - Growing up, a friend of mine had an uncle with a place at SML we would go to several times a year. There was a floating swimming dock at the property's beach that had a tendency to get covered with bird poo. In an attempt to solve the problem, uncle bought a whole bunch of rubber snakes and tried them all out until he found one the birds were scared of. From a distance, it always looked like there was a snake just relaxing on the dock. From up close, there was a snake with a nail through it's head stuck to the dock.

2 - That left a large box of rubber snakes at the place. One time, my sister came up for the day for swimming/water skiing. I knew she didn't like snakes. Mischievous little brother I was, taking one of the rubber snakes and wrapping it around the gas pedal of her car sounded like it would be funny. Except I grossly underestimated how much she is terrified of snakes. I didn't get a jump scare out of her, I got fits of hysteria that took over an hour for her to come down to earth. Whoops. It was funny in my head.
