Exactly.....


while it may cost you a midweek game here and there live game reps for backups and developing players can be crucial long term. Much better that initial experience be gained on a Wedneday afternoon in March as opposed to a weekend series in the heart of a conference race. Cliche but, sometimes short term pain is necessary for long term gain. It is the balance we spoke of earlier that is the trick so that midweek losses do not result in a confidence problem or momentum killer on the weekend.
