Most articles I've read and the great updates provided by Hokietony seem to indicate that Sam SHOULD be in.

But I'm pretty worried because the only category in Sam's favor is coaches rank, and he's gone 0-2 since the last ranking. How much thought do coaches (some that just finished tournaments yesterday) really put into the rankings when it gets to those 20 - 33 spots?

He's going to have to stay ranked above the other guys because he's not going to beat out anyone on:

- quality wins
- winning percentage
- conference tournament placement

- common opponents and head to head - will both likely be even splits due to reduced competition outside of conference.

I'd feel better about his chances if more logic and debate were involved as he clearly had a tougher schedule than the other guys looking for an at large bid (other than Courtney). His losses are all to guys in the tourney or a lock to be in the tourney.
