Nomad's seeding projections and Bratke on Hillegas wild card

Wrestling Nomad has run the numbers through the same seeding matrix that the committee will use this week. He's only gone up to 149 and we could have three guys with top 5 seeds (all have been discussed on here already):

125
1) Spencer Lee
2) Drew Hildebrandt
3) Sam Latona
4) Brandon Courtney
5) Brody Teske
6) Jakob Camacho
7) Taylor LaMont
8) RayVon Foley
9) Devin Schroder
10) Malik Heinselman
11) Michael DeAugustino

133
1) Daton Fix
2) Roman Bravo-Young
3) Korbin Myers
4) Micky Phillippi
5) Austin DeSanto
6) Matthew Schmitt
7) Lucas Byrd
8) Louie Hayes
9) Jarrett Trombley
10) Chris Cannon

141
1) Jaydin Eierman
2) Tariq Wilson
3) Dom Demas
4) Nick Lee
5) Sebastian Rivera
6) Ian Parker
7) Chad Red
8) Zach Sherman
9) Cody Trybus

149
1) Sammy Sasso
2) Austin O’Connor
3) Brock Mauller
4) Boo Lewallen
5) Bryce Andonian
6) Ridge Lovet

From Nomad: Andonian/Lovett decided by Coaches Rank. 5-13 in coaches rank all probably dropping or moving, so I truly have no idea who the 7 will be

Also, Bratke from Flo has Hillegas taking a wild card spot, which will be announced tomorrow. His reasoning:

Bratke's Wildcard Predictions

Brian Courtney (Virginia)

Gabe Willochell (Edinboro)

Sam Hillegas (Virginia Tech)

Real Woods (Stanford)

Franco Valdes (Chattanooga)

Chase Zollman (Wyoming)

Why These 6 - Brian Courtney is probably the safest bet of the bunch to earn a wildcard thanks to his wins over Southern Conference champion Anthony Brito, Sam Hillegas, and Cole Matthews.

The most controversial one will be Real Woods. The Stanford standout returned to the Cardinal lineup for the first time this season at the Pac-12 Championships and finished in a position that would earn him an allocation. However, Woods did not meet the four-match requirement necessary to earn his spot in St. Louis. To help Woods hit this four-match minimum, Stanford arranged two matches for Woods over the weekend against Jose Landin of CSU Bakersfield. Woods won by tech fall and fall and is now eligible to be considered for a wildcard. I don't love anything about this, but the crop of wrestlers that need a wildcard at this weight is not that deep, and I expect Woods to be inside the top 20 of the final coaches rankings.

Gabe Willochell picked up double-digit wins during the regular season and beat Derek Spann twice who was in the top 25 of the coaches rankings. Two of his three losses were to auto qualifiers, and outside of the Willochell defeats, all of Spann's losses came to auto-qualified wrestlers.

While Sam Hillegas didn't pick up a win over any auto qualifiers, he only lost to wrestlers ranked inside the top 18 of the coaches poll. Hillegas also beat Shannon Hanna of Campbell who is also looking for a wildcard selection.

Speaking of Hannah, while he does have the most recent win over Franco Valdes, I decided to go with Valdes due to the fact he does have a win over Hanna this season, and he was undefeated against eventual Southern Conference champion, Anthony Brito, while Hanna was winless against Brito.

While Petersen and Sandoval had wins over Zollman in January, I believe Zollman should earn the wildcard out of the Big 12 trio in the mix for it. Petersen went 0-2 at the Big 12 Championships with a loss to Jeff Boyd who Zollman beat twice. Sandoval was seventh and had a loss to Dylan Droegemueller who Zollman beat in the fifth-place bout. Zollman also finished one spot out of qualifying only losing to auto qualifiers Ian Parker and Clay Carlson.
