Bear with me here, there's a woman tennis player who's pretty much been a nobody - she's 27 - but has had a pretty good run of late, going deep into the Australian Open and semifinals in a minor tournament Doha. Unremarkable, except for the fact that her parents are billionaires, and own the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. She made a comment a couple weeks ago something like "I wanted to go out and establish my own identity, now, I'm OK with 'being part of the family'" So, if you follow me she's had/having her adventure and now she's into assuming "family" duties. Sure, she's got more latitude to act than prince will ever have - imagine being part of a ceremony that was probably established 500 years ago but that implied to me she will be assuming certain family duties, future owner of the Bills? Q. Elizabeth is probably a great example of someone who "got it" picked up the scepter and ran with it especially not historically long after Edward VIII said screw it and abdicated.

It'll be mildly interesting, we'll see. Why have a monarchy at all? fantastic for tourism.
