I could not help but watch, if only for the amusement. My observations:

1. Meghan was apparently the last living human on earth that did not know the Brit royal family is composed of really odd ducks who grew up living as a sort of human museum whose every move is scrutinized and exploited by a tabloid press that would make Hugh Hefner blush.

2. Harry's life was even more sheltered than most of us would have imagined, and he was not only woefully naive but readily manipulated.

3. Kate is a very nice girl except when she's getting thrown under the bus headfirst by her sweet sister-in-law.

4. None of Harry's family have said bad things that Harry wants to talk about, but he's not speaking to the future king who is allegedly his father, so . . .

5. It is much easier for bad guys to find specific celebrities in Vancouver than in L.A.

6. Which came first, the chickens or the Faberge eggs?

7. Royal trust funds don't go as far as they used to, but if you are the grandson of the richest granny in England the best thing to do to stretch your walking around money is to go ask Madea for a place to crash and a posse of bodyguards.

8. Apparently, if you leave a British royal palace to have lunch with your pals or go see your shrink, you're apt to be shot or locked up by the guards, but sneaking out in the middle of the night to go see your side piece is not a big deal - unless something has changed since the early 1990s. The reverse is also true; they shoot shrinks who do house calls on sight, but out of work derelicts and favored paramours can sneak into a palace any old time.

9. Harry and Meghan aren't into titles but it is unacceptable to preclude the unborn from having one; after all, they should have to suffer through prince hood just like all those other lads until they grow up and decide to bail out on their own.
