state by state of course, still see a little bible belt there, Mormons of course, Don't get the natives drunk in Alaska type stuff.

I live in MD and for a long time until fairly recently, say ten years ago you COULD NOT bring alcohol into the state eg, cross the Cabin John, er, American Legion Bridge with a bottle of booze in the car. Felony. Later it was controlled by distributors, ie, you had to ship it to a a distributor who could then deliver it to you. Now, looks like you can get a permit. So yeah, lot of grey area I think.

It's funny, people always think "prohibition" was repealed but really the wording is that it was returned to the states to decide. (OK, it was repealed at a federal level)

Just check their website and surely they'll have a list of states.
