Eyeroll not directed at you at all, more at this one funky poll. Marinelli is an outstanding talent so we are splitting hairs a little. He had a great year last year and was poised for a run, he avenged his only loss during the season to Joseph (another phenom) in the B1T trny, both close decisions.

However, the only time that he wrestled Mekhi he lost. Marinelli may be getting the nod in this poll because of last year, because he is a senior, and because he is from IOWA - thus the eyeroll. Otherwise there is no other reason to put Marinelli ahead of Mekhi and most of the other polls agree. Good thing is they will decide it on the mat - but #1 seed in NCAAT will have its advantages.
