My advice talk to dealers in Winston Salem or even Concord. They will

compete on price against one another. To complete a sale they have retired old people that will drive the truck to you with the paperwork to complete the deal. Also, you should wait if possible till Toyota offers a rebate. If you can get your financing at 2.5% from a private bank do it. Toyota has offered 0% for a 60 month term. The dealership will tell you there is no way they will give you both the rebate and 0% financing which is BS, if you have them competing, they will back off that rule to get the sale. You call enough dealers and make low ball offers or your realistic dream price that will give you a threshold of the lowest price you may possibly get. Make sure that includes any "dealer prep fees" which is another add-on they will try to sneak on the very last document. They pulled that shit on me in Lugoff SC one time I signed what seemed like 30 documents and bam last document dealer prep. I said no way got up and walked out. It was hilarious because I see other customers in the showroom staring at me after seeing the expression on the sales guy's face. Not good look for them. They call me back 2 hours later and wanted to cut it in half.

If you do the sale at the dealership be prepared for one of the salesmen show you the swag packages and throw it into the loan. If you are getting a 0% or very low interest rate that is ok but you can also buy many of these accessories on ebay and other places cheaper. Then they will take you to the finance officer who is now the real shark in the whole process. They try to sell you every extended warranty package under the sun and throw it into the loan. Just keep saying no no no no except maybe for the electronics warranty for Toyotas.

These guys are pigs that play in the mud. Most people are only willing to go knee deep. I changed my mindset years ago and jump in with a cannonball and treat like a game of Texas Holdem. Pit dealerships against one another low ball any offer they suggest. When they start getting annoyed you know your getting close.
