Fauci or Bill Gates or whatever bogyeman nutjobs on the internet have decided to single out. Fauci is not "behind the science" of preventing viral spread. He didn't invent the mitigation methods. He is by no means the only doctor or scientist promoting them.

The "science" didn't destroy people's lives and livelihood. A novel virus and global pandemic did that. It has also killed 400,000 Americans. The fact that you claim that the "policy" has "failed to do anything" shows just how far outside of reality you're living. Just like the fact that you claim Fauci's "best answer is two masks" nonsense.

Like I said below... you think Fauci's big plan was to lie low in the service of multiple presidents for decades waiting for just the right time to unleash the virus he helped fund at the Wuhan lab on the unsuspecting populace so that he could rise to power (most of which he already had) and get his name and face on TV more? Do you know how absurd and ridiculous that sounds? I'm all for intellectual curiosity. But there's a wide gap between "just asking questions" and making up a whole plot that requires Pepe Silva levels of dot connecting.

I assume you believe the VT scientist who has put out extensive information regarding masks (including wearing two) is also in on it as well?

It shouldn't be interesting that I have no desire to peddle conspiracy theories or give them air to breathe. That should be normal. You are the one spouting nonsense with no basis in reality or facts or science. You, like many other conspiracy pushers, want someone to blame b/c it makes it easier to cope with. Because otherwise this just happened and our livelihoods and ways of lives are more fragile than your mind can handle.

Unfortunately that's just what happened. I have no doubt that China knows (and knew) more than they let on. Note that that doesn't mean I think China created or released the virus intentionally. But for the most part I think leaders, officials, scientists, doctors, average people are simply trying to navigate an extremely difficult situation as best they can. I may or may not agree with every idea or policy they have with regards to helping but I don't think it's driven by something sinister or shadowy. It's a beyond crappy situation that has impacted pretty much every person on the planet in some way, shape, or form. That's awful. The lives lost or changed, the jobs lost, the economic toll, the mental health aspects, all of it is terrible and all of it is part of the pandemic. Trying to pin that on any one person or entity simply because you disagree with his/her/its policy or line of rational is simply foolish.
