his various flip flops on masks, his own admission that he lied to conserve PPE inventory, his attempts to predict and then back track and his fawning to Rachel Maddow how he wanted to be on her show to be just some of evidence of a guy seeking his two minutes. Ever hear of him before COVID? The implication was not that he was "only" doing his job for fame the implication was he got a taste of the spotlight and became enamored with it. As important, I believe it compromised his ability to do his job which is to truthfully advise BOTH his boss and the American public as to the realities. I do not know what he said to his boss but, by his own admission he misled the American public in at least one instance and maybe more. His integrity is seriously called in to question now that he attempts to change his story to fit the posture of a new administration. If he felt that way all along he should have had the courage to say so then. Those changes in position I believe have very little, if anything, to do with evolving science.
