We replaced ours in Connecticut about 5 or 6 years ago. The research

I did then seemed to indicate that 5 or 6 well known brands were all, essentially, the same manufacturer behind the scenes.

We ended up buying 2 LiftMaster belt drive units. Belt drive are much quieter than chain. I don't remember the model #s, though they've probably changed anyway in 6 years. They looked like the ones in the attached pic.

They worked great for the 2+ years we continued to live there, and if/when these in our new home break, I'd be willing to buy LiftMaster again.
