Despite all the negative news, my dad found the vaccine process very orderly. Florida started vaccinated people over 65 here in Seminole at an old mall on Dec 28. He signed up to get an alert after missing out on the first week's appointments. Got the alert and was able to get an appointment for Jan 6. Got there at 12:30. Between filling out forms and being observed after the shot, he was there 45 minutes. Got a CDC card with his next dose appointment for Feb 3. They were giving the Moderna shot which they marked on the card to make sure he gets the same shot when he goes back. Seemed pretty straight forward. My dad is one of the most impatient people I know, so for him to say it was efficient says a lot.
