I'm optimistic that Hokie Softball will schedule more than Pitt's 38 regular season games. If all we play are conference opponents, look for a great deal of "portal dwellers" after the season than usual, for every game will be a "must win" scenario. As a softball fanatic concerned with winning, I have no problem with fielding our best 10-12 position players every game, if we play a schedule like Pitt's. I also see very few chances with "experimenting" with more than 1-2 pitchers other than All American Keely Rochard. Let's hope we can schedule a dozen or more mid major teams, and
that the overwhelming majority of those games are played at Tech Softball Park.
