Joe Walsh is awesome. He sings lead on a couple of songs and in the

Eagles documentary they explained how the guitar riff on Life in the Fast Lane was a warm-up routine he was playing that Don Henley heard and liked.

Don Felder on the other hand sounded like he was a real richard. I could be wrong about that. Frey and Henely apparently insisted on being paid more when they got back together and that didn't sit well with Felder. It would probably upset me too, but in reality, they were the only two Eagles that had any big success outside of the band post breakup. If they hadn't participated in Hell Freezes Over, it wouldn't have happened and they capitalized on that. He also wanted to sing lead on a song at some point, and got mad Henley sang it. I mean I guess he did get the short end of the stick but he overestimated his value to the group and didn't come off well in his interviews.
