Early in Whit’s tenure at VT a friend of mine, whose daughter works for the VT AD, thought that Whit didn’t devote as much attention to the women’s bb team as she thought necessary. I really don’t believe her opinion has changed since then. One thing she did do was bring Whit’s attention to how Dennis Wolff treated the players before Whit arrived and during the period Wolff was the coach when Whit was there.

As for TSL basically snubbing the women’s team, I agree there should be some effort to provide more equitable info like the next game info, and maybe some other coverage.
