Our coach has stockpiled a very impressive stable of gifted athletes, many of them of the "5 Tool" variety. It will be interesting to see what next years Softball schedule will look like. Some conferences are pondering having conference only competition with back to back doubleheaders or 1-2-1 game series. Most, if not all " Elite Invitational Tournaments" have been cancelled. With financial constraints and health protocols, we most likely will see a significant reduction in the normal 56 game regular season. There is a good chance that the 2021 season will start later than usual, and that we will see our Ladies on the field at home in March against ACC foes. Hokie Softball, cant wait!
