I would hope some kind of counseling comes with the procedure.

She's got to be pretty upset whether she says so or not. If I were you, and having this time to think and plan, I might start each day with some kind of mantra that includes, "How can I be nice to my wife today?"

In fact, that would be a good idea for me, as well. now that I think more about it.
