Any of you got experience taking care of a wife after a double mastectomy?

Wife's going in next week for that and is going to be in the hospital for 3-4 days recovering and then back home for a 4-6 week recovery. Any pointers? Note: She does not have breast cancer, but she has a gene (BRCA) that puts her at an 80% (or some ridiculously high % like that) of getting breast cancer in the future so she decided to get the preventative done.
