Agree.. I don't carry a balance though, but i DID just this morning->


have an account canceled due to lack of use.. I'd forgotten about it (usually they warn you first and I'll use the card a couple of times.

This was a card (called Care Credit) that we used in the past when paying VERY high vet bills..they offered 18 months same as cash, and I used those types of things whenever available. Had long ago paid it off and forgot to use it again.

It will be interesting to see if the cancellation will have an affect on my credit score...I'm at a point where it really doesn't matter anymore, but I'm curious since reading this discussion
