I have had mine since new also. Bought it in late 97. It only has about 195k miles on it. Son took it to VT for 4 years and brought it back. It did not come back smarter but I think it had fun at the river and being used as a designated driver bus for the fraternity. lol. Needs some new seat belts, and I could use some bulbs replaced in the dashboard but I think everything else is still pretty good, except for the rip in the leather seat on the driver's side, which I see almost everyone has. I agree the old trucks are tanks. Mine was built on a steel frame. You can't kill that thing. The 11-13 mpg I don't love but we don't use it that often anyway.
