... on a relative scale, compared to a million individual internal combustion engines. Every generation of hybrid and electric vehicles also gets incrementally better about using things like regenerative braking and solar power to add juice, taking a load off of the electrical grid as well.

The real environmental cost of electric vehicles is the wanton destruction caused by the mining necessary to create their batteries
