No roof rack or rails, but those are options. The Titanium model comes

with the mini spare as a standard feature and has the same mpg rating. I guess it's possible they were trying to reduce weight. The engine battery is also is also located in the cargo area where the spare would normally go. The Hybrid battery is liquid cooled and located under the back seat. I don't pretend to understand any of the placements. I just know I drove 45 minutes to my house tonight and used about a gallon of gas. I'll call that a win in my book.
