I no longer believe the shot gave me the flu—but I did for years.


I get the flu shot every year - at least last 20 years. Other than that time in 1988, I’ve never had anything other than a sore arm.

I “used” to also think the flu caused stomach issues. I’m sure a few of the really bad colds I’ve had Over the years were actually the flu. Especially now knowing that flu shots are often 50% or less effective.
