57 years old and had mine done 7 weeks ago...

I had been bone on bone for 7 years and put it off. Started losing significant range of motion - straightest leg would get was 24 degrees. My advice, go get it done. After 7 weeks back to 6 degrees, doesn't hurt to walk 100 yards anymore. Find a doc with a good reputation, low to non-existent infection rate and DO THE EXERCISES.
